Position Summary

Successfully promote and support the mission of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas as guided by the Catholic Social Teachings by leading agency information technology efforts and initiatives to equip our staff, volunteers and clients with the computer, networking, hardware and internet resources necessary to support the strategic plan of the agency and carry out our mission. Essential Functions

Identifies ideal IT support structure and implements it in order to maintain infrastructure, carry out Improvements and drive the strategy for information technology going forward, including the assessment of necessary internal and external supportive resources Manages outsourced supportive resources, utilizing them for tactical support and engaging this larger network for specific expertise or experience Oversees the daily operations of the Information Technology (IT) department, managing projects, staff, volunteers and vendor relationships to ensure a trained, qualified and informed team to assist in driving long-term IT strategy Ensures the security, efficiency and scalability of agency information technology systems, including computers, building security server and software, network servers and software, and phone systems Ensures the highest possible level of technological support to staff and volunteers Ensures that the planning, implementation and maintenance of IT systems meet or exceed industry standards and support the agency strategic plan Establishes and executes annual evaluation of all technical systems, computers, and communication devices by program and location in order to make recommendations for capital budget Plans for and manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of computers, server and networks, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and other equipment Manages, supports and develops the security, reliability and integrity of all IT systems and business applications including implementation of proactive maintenance Develops standards, policies and procedures related to the procurement and usage of agency technology, working closely with senior management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the agency Keeps current with the latest technologies to identify opportunities, recommend strategies, and effectively leverages appropriate technology solutions that support future agency needs Maintains all agency domain names and occasionally assist with updating the IT aspect of websites Leads business analysis sessions with our customer/programs to understand current business processes and make recommendations Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

This requirement includes any public speech, demonstration, or writing including the use of social media or other digital technologies Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and any ongoing training as required Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred 8+ years of strong leadership experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role with a track record of building high performing teams Strategic leadership, with a vison for how technology can support the organization’s growth and impact in the community Experience with managing Help Desk software for requests and problem resolution Possess a working knowledge of relevant technologies, including Windows 10, 11 for workstations, Windows Server 2012 and 2019 R2, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365, Internet Information Services, Security Systems (Kantech), Active Directory, and remote access Highly customer service oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and independent worker, yet a team player with a service orientated attitude Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, cybersecurity and IT operations. Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and system administration Experience in vendor management, requests for proposals, contract negotiation, and budget management Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational needs

Physical Requirements
