Job Description
CSCI Consulting is looking for a results-driven and highly organized
Project Manager
to support the
Program Integration and Monitoring Team
for a federal client. This role focuses on the coordination, integration, and oversight of programmatic reporting, audit response, project lifecycle management, and cross-agency stakeholder engagement.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing reporting processes, developing and managing project plans, supporting compliance monitoring, and driving operational improvements. This is a dynamic position requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution in a federal program environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the preparation, analysis, and submission of internal and external programmatic, financial, and audit-related reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current policies and guidance
Review and evaluate existing reporting and monitoring processes to identify opportunities for improvement, standardization, and efficiency across divisions and stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, work breakdown structures, staffing plans, milestones, and deliverables to support the successful execution of program goals
Provide oversight and coordination of integrated project teams to ensure alignment across multiple workstreams, manage interdependencies, and drive issue resolution
Facilitate effective communication across internal and external stakeholders by developing communication plans, managing outreach activities, and preparing executive-level briefings and status reports
Manage meeting logistics and materials, including scheduling, preparing agendas, coordinating attendance, documenting minutes and action items, and distributing follow-up communications
Support risk management by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating project and program risks, and reporting on compliance activities
Maintain and organize documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), white papers, and guidance materials, ensuring they reflect current practices and are readily accessible
Conduct research and analysis to support reporting, audit response, and policy updates; provide well-documented recommendations to improve program operations
Serve as a key liaison between leadership and operating divisions to ensure timely, accurate responses to data calls, reporting requirements, and stakeholder inquiries
Utilize collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint) for document management, communication, and version control; make recommendations to improve use and accessibility
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Finance, Project Management, or related field
7+ years of experience in federal program/project management, reporting oversight, or audit support
8+ years of progressive experience managing complex projects, compliance, reporting or integration efforts in a federal or government-related environment
Knowledge of federal reporting standards, programmatic risk assessment, and audit readiness practices
Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and project scheduling tools
Experience preparing executive-level briefings and managing high-level stakeholder communications
Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional presence
Preferred Skills
PMP, CAPM, or related project management certification
Experience with reporting requirements related to OMB, GAO, OIG, or federal compliance frameworks
Familiarity with federal financial operations, improper payment reporting, or audit liaison functions
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
Past experience working with a federal agency
Department of Defense experience is a plus!
