Total Rewards Senior Analyst

to join our Human Resources team. This individual will provide comprehensive support across several key HR functions, including general compensation, benefits, leave of absence administration, HR analytics and reporting, HR operations, HRIS management, and vendor credentialing for sales employees. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The work location will be in our HQ in Leesburg, VA. What You’ll Do: Compensation Support the Director of Total Rewards in designing and maintaining competitive base, variable, and equity compensation programs. Partner with Finance and leadership on merit cycles, bonus plans, and equity strategy. Support recruiting in establishing pay ranges for hiring needs. Support job leveling, market benchmarking, and salary structure reviews. Act as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, including medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k) and ancillary plans. Assist in the administration of additional benefits offered by VB Spine (i.e. tuition reimbursement, fertility/adoption benefits, etc.) Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues. Leave of Absence Administration Serve as the primary point of contact for leave of absence requests (FMLA, personal, medical, etc.). Ensure proper documentation, compliance with applicable laws, and timely communication with employees and managers. Coordinate with payroll and benefits to ensure seamless processing during leaves. HR Analytics, Reporting and HRIS Support Generate, maintain, and distribute regular and ad hoc HR reports (headcount, turnover, DEI, etc.). Partner with HR leadership to analyze data trends and provide actionable insights. Maintain employee records in the HRIS (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP) and ensure data accuracy. Support system upgrades, implementations, and troubleshooting. Assist in user training and support for HRIS tools. Other HR Support Manage the credentialing process for sales team members to ensure compliance with vendor requirements. Assist with day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and policy administration. Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support HR team in various projects and initiatives as needed. What You Bring: 2-4 years of experience in a benefits/compensation role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Experience with data manipulation or HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG). Familiarity with LOA regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and best practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Prior consulting experience is a plus. Demonstrated analytical skills, with preference for strong financial acumen related to valuations Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Why VB Spine? Compensation: Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors, including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
