General Manager Position Summary :
The General Manager is the leader of the Front and Back of the House teams and has full business responsibility for a QSR restaurant. S/he represents the brand and business within the community and develops his/her team, including AGM, Shift Supervisors, and restaurant team members covering BOH and FOH responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive team performance in BOH and FOH towards excellence in execution and guest service daily.
Create a positive work environment to promote sales and retain top talent.
Manage the financial and operational performance to meet and exceed company goals/metrics.
Promote guest service proactively and handle restaurant-level issues/complaints effectively.
Source, interview, and select top talent from various pools to meet current and future needs.
Lead by example through performance management, training, coaching, and positive role modeling.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following sanitation standards, legal regulations, and disaster plans.
Complete additional duties as assigned by Area Manager.
Obtain a SERV Safe Certification within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience in QSR with some P&L responsibilities.
Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
Proficiency in oral and written English communication.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Additional Info
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Must meet physical demands such as standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Work environment includes typical restaurant conditions with moderate noise levels and exposure to weather conditions.
