Employee Relations Manager

About the Role: As the Employee Relations Manager (ERM), you will lead a team of Employee Relations Partners, overseeing daily operations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. You will guide leaders and associates through complex workplace matters while shaping policies that reflect our values and culture. You will manage sensitive investigations, drive continuous improvement, and provide strategic insights through data and collaboration. Your knowledge of employment law and ability to influence at all levels will help foster a respectful, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Lead and develop a team of Employee Relations Partners, driving continuous improvement through best practices, coaching, and training. Conduct and oversee complex and sensitive workplace investigations, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other policy violations. Lead witness interviews, review documents, determine findings, and recommend resolutions. Train your team accordingly. Engage external legal resources for high complexity or sensitive matters, applying judgment and discretion, and keeping leadership informed. Develop and recommend workplace policies in partnership with stakeholders, interpreting policies and procedures in accordance with multi-state and federal laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, Title VII). Draft well-written investigation reports, speaking points, corrective actions, and presentations, demonstrating excellent communication skills. Create data reports and analyses to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making and risk prevention. Manage case management systems, meet service level agreements, and oversee exit interview processes. Collaborate with internal partners to promote a positive work environment and drive results. Lead or assist with project management, including M&A activities and reorganizations. Support internal projects and initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in HR or Paralegal experience preferred. 6-8 years of related experience or as a Line HR manager with employee relations expertise, required. Experience within a large financial services organization preferred. High discretion, integrity, and confidentiality. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively. Analytical and strategic thinking skills. Strong influencing and command skills. Solid understanding of employment and labor laws. Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and presenting. Ability to build partnerships with managers, leaders, legal, and HR colleagues. Job Location(s):

Benefits: We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and benefits. The pay range is $110,000 - $160,000, dependent on experience and location. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and more, effective from the first day of employment.
