Posted Thursday 31 July 2025 at 04:00 ASSOCIATE MANAGER RETAIL MARKETING The Associate Manager, Retail Marketing, located in Needham, MA, will play a key role in the planning and activation for our retail channel, with a specific focus on our Franchise locations in Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This role will also partake in projects covering the needs of our growing retail chain within the Americas commercial marketing team. The Associate Manager will lead new store openings and remodels for owned locations and franchises, including Outlets, Full-price locations, and new store formats. Additionally, the role will collaborate with our Retail Marketing Manager to execute traffic-driving programs and store visuals based on the global creative direction, making regional adaptations to bring our brand to life across the region and through our partners. Our ideal candidate will elevate the Clarks brand presentation and drive traffic and conversion across the extensive network of business partners and retail locations within Latin America and Canada. The Associate Manager will support and partner with the Manager of Retail Marketing to activate an integrated marketing strategy, manage budgets, and lead the day-to-day marketing functions for new doors and franchises in Latin America & Canada. Responsibilities include seasonal marketing programs, window displays, branded in-store signage, events, budget management, and activity reporting. Seeking a candidate fluent in Spanish and English. What You'll Do: Lead planning, execution, and activation of marketing at franchise locations in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Develop and activate regional channel plans with the Manager of Retail Marketing, aligning with business goals, budgets, and brand strategy to drive conversion and evaluate marketing programs. Build relationships with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Product, Finance, Ecommerce, and Creative, working closely with Channel Marketing Managers and the creative studio. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and contacts to implement regional marketing executions supporting business needs. Understand the wholesale/retail marketplace, including co-op marketing and competitor landscape, both brick-and-mortar and digital. Organize and develop processes that drive clarity and results internally and externally. Apply strong analytical and optimization skills. Manage Latin America & Canada marketing budgets, driving innovation to exceed program goals, with support from regional finance and the Retail Marketing Manager. Serve as the key point person for day-to-day marketing needs in the Latin America & Canada regions. Support new ideas and initiatives to evolve and grow the brand, creating exceptional customer experiences. Develop and execute seasonal window campaigns and in-store graphic solutions aligned with global/regional strategies for franchise partners. Partner with Store Design, Visual Merchandisers, and Merchandising teams to deliver VM concepts for new store concepts and franchise locations. Support new store openings across the US and Canada to grow our retail footprint. What You'll Bring: Fluency in Spanish. Experience in retail and/or wholesale marketing, especially in a field-based retail or franchise environment. Knowledge of wholesale business, including footwear retail and franchise operations. Understanding of the footwear market in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Ability to build relationships with diverse partners. Knowledge of Clarks’ collections and products. Familiarity with marketing creative processes and wholesale/retail marketing space. Experience analyzing expenses versus budgets and marketing results for improvements. Understanding of sales cycles and processes. Knowledge of business financials: traffic, net turnover, margin, profitability. Strong communication skills—written and oral—and ability to write clear directives. Organizational skills to prioritize workload effectively. Ability to think both analytically and creatively. Influence cross-departmentally. Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
