Commercial Finance Manager

to join their corporate finance team. This individual will serve as a key business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations leadership, providing financial insights, forecasting, pricing strategy, and performance analysis to drive profitable growth and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering & Commercial Support Serve as a strategic finance partner to commercial leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Support pricing decisions, commercial contracts, product launches, and customer profitability analysis Provide financial analysis to support negotiations, cost-to-serve analysis, and customer programs Financial Planning & Analysis Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the commercial business Analyze and communicate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year, with clear business drivers Identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations Reporting & Performance Management Develop and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial performance Monitor revenue, gross margin, product mix, and customer/channel performance Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement Drive financial support for strategic initiatives including market expansion, pricing optimization, and product rationalization Partner with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement projects Support digital finance initiatives, dashboarding, and automation of reporting processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred) 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance or FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based company Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales or marketing functions Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI) Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills Excellent communication and business partnering skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Attributes: Experience in standard costing, margin analysis, or pricing strategy Knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain finance Familiarity with ERP and business intelligence tools
