Position Description This is a

Full-time,

Non-Civil Service position with Metropolitan Action

Commission with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

The position is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager and performs duties as instructed to insure the cleanliness of all Metropolitan Action Commission property (indoor and outside). Work Hours : Monday - Friday (10:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M.)

Typical Duties

Perform preventive maintenance work Assist in all cleaning functions Attend meetings and complete required training Demonstrate positive and professional work habits Assist with other position related duties as requested by supervisor Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of an eighth-grade education and one (1) year of experience in custodial work. Valid Driver License.

Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government. Knowledge of custodial methods, materials and tools Must be able to lift 75 pounds
