Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale, complex IT projects involving multiple teams, vendor collaboration, and integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, and the ability to ensure alignment with established project management methodologies and industry best practices. This role requires executive-level communication, strategic oversight, and the ability to manage projects with high visibility and risk.
Responsibilities: • Provide strategic oversight, leadership, and accountability for large-scale projects (6+ months in duration, 20+ team members). • Ensure alignment with established project management methodologies, investment management processes, and systems engineering standards. • Manage complex project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to scope. • Coordinate with vendors, oversee contracts, and ensure timely integration of project components. • Perform long-term release and resource planning based on organizational objectives. • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executives and escalate as needed. • Maintain strong quality control processes to ensure project objectives are met.
Required Skills: • Proven experience in managing large, complex projects involving vendor participation and multiple teams. • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, web, and cloud environments. • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management. • Executive-level communication and reporting skills. • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and solve complex problems. • Strong leadership, team coordination, and relationship-building skills.
Nice to Have: • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as SUITE or similar frameworks. • Experience working within state or public sector environments. • Understanding of network communications (e.g., Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port).
