Job Overview We are seeking an experienced

SCCM/ECM System Administrator

with a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale workstation lifecycle management. This role requires a

minimum of 6 years' hands-on experience

working with

SCCM/ECM (on-premises)

to design, implement, maintain, and optimize software distribution, patch management, and workstation configurations. The ideal candidate will not only be technically strong but will also bring strategic insight, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance the stability, security, and efficiency of our endpoint management environment.

You will work in a complex, high-availability infrastructure that spans

Windows, Linux, virtualized, and cloud-based systems , ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the SCCM/ECM environment, solve challenging issues, and directly impact system performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

SCCM/ECM Administration

- Manage all aspects of on-premises SCCM/ECM, including software deployment, patch/update management, operating system imaging, and configuration baselines.

Environment Optimization

- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks in the SCCM/ECM environment, and develop innovative solutions such as configuration changes, topology adjustments, or new tool integrations.

Systems Integration & Maintenance

- Ensure SCCM/ECM integrates effectively with Active Directory, PKI, M365, VMware, and other enterprise tools.

Automation & Scripting

- Develop and maintain

PowerShell scripts

to streamline administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance

- Implement workstation security best practices, manage certificate deployments, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Collaboration & Support

- Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the enterprise IT environment. Required Skills & Experience

6+ years' experience

in SCCM/ECM administration within a large enterprise environment.

Proven expertise in

software distribution, patch management, and endpoint lifecycle management

using SCCM/ECM.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues across SCCM, Windows Server, Active Directory, and network services.

Proficiency in

PowerShell scripting

for automation and task management.

Experience recommending and implementing environment improvements to increase reliability, performance, and scalability. Technical Environment You will work in a diverse enterprise infrastructure, including:

Microsoft Server OS, Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux

Services & Tools:

IIS, DNS, DHCP, WSUS (SCCM), Active Directory, PKI, Identity & Access Management

Virtualization & Storage:

VMware vSphere, Pure Flash Array, SAN administration

Application Delivery:

Citrix XenApp, NetScaler

Cloud & Automation:

Microsoft 365 Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible
