, to lead our global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for

Windows 365 Link

and

Teams Phone

, driving growth across all customer segments. This role will require a mix of product strategy, partner ecosystem understanding, channel orchestration, and tight alignment with engineering, field sales, and marketing teams. This position will play a leadership role in accelerating Microsoft's AI Workforce priorities. This includes high executive visibility, ownership of strategic priorities, and the opportunity to define how the next generation of Microsoft productivity experiences are delivered.

As part of the Commercial Solutions Areas (CSA) Go-To-Market team for AI Workforce, the Senior, Business Architect's primary responsibility is to drive our global Modern Work Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Windows 365 Link and Teams Phone through partners and our digital engines. This role will develop, land, and refine GTM models, innovating how we acquire, engage, and grow customers, enabling scale and digital engines with strategies, sales methodology, integrated sales and marketing campaigns, and programs.

To be successful, you must be able to function at an executive level, building and orchestrate the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy across all relevant sales channels, growing Windows 365 Link and Teams Phone new customer acquisition, expansion, and upsell motion. This will require the formulation of both long-term business strategies and month-to-month execution plans aligned with AI Business Solution priorities, delivering revenue and new customer growth across all sales channels. You will need to collaborate with a broad set of cross-functional teams within Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) and across other organizations including Product Marketing, Business Planning, Finance, and Business Development.

Responsibilities

Define and develop the GTM strategy for Windows 365 Link and Teams Phone

Blueprint and capacity

Sales model design, role orchestration and sales motions

Incentives and compensation

Engage and influence corporate and field stakeholders to drive alignment around the plan and align across GTM levers

inclusive of: Business model, Marketing strategy and collateral, Product roadmap, and Partner strategy

Innovate and design new sales motions and strategies to reach new and existing customers.

Represent business and technical needs/feedback in key leadership forums with engineering and business leaders.

Ensure the right metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are in place to achieve the right outcomes for our customers, to measure progress over time and to implement course corrections as needed.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience across partner sales, partner development or Go-To-Market.

Prior experience analyzing and decomposing complex systems to design and refine towards a desired outcome.

Domain knowledge / proficient in AI Workforce.

Ability to understand strategic implications of change, train cross-functional teams, and provide leadership to overcome barriers and achieve results through individual and broader team efforts.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
