Hotel Accounting Clerk - AC Clayton Hotel
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about hospitality? Do you have a strong hotel front desk/night audit/hotel accounting background? We're looking for a Hotel Accounting Clerk to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting both our guests and our internal teams by managing billing inquiries, daily receivables, and various month-end responsibilities, all while helping to deliver outstanding guest experiences and ensuring financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities As a Hotel Accounting Clerk, you'll be responsible for: Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, billing questions, and requests Investigating and resolving guest billing disputes with a friendly, service-oriented approach Completing all month-end duties, including preparing financial reports and setting up late bills Preparing and posting daily receivables from event contracts and reconciling to the General Ledger Coordinating and verifying receiving tickets, purchase orders, and invoices for proper coding and approvals Reviewing final statements for accuracy and sending out sales contracts to clients in a timely manner Preparing journal entries and assisting with general accounting tasks Managing guest service calls, email/fax/mail correspondence, and sending folios or billing documents as requested Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of basic hotel accounting practices Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Strong mathematical and organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience in hotel Accounts Receivable and Collections is a plus Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time associates, including: Competitive wages Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance (short and long-term) 401(k) plan Tuition assistance Discounted hotel room rates at Marriott and Concord-managed properties Ongoing training and development opportunities Clear pathways for career advancement Why Join Concord Hospitality?
