Systems Developer
Location: Albany, New York (Hybrid) Hourly Rate: Depending on experience Duration: 24 months This is a hybrid role based in Albany, NY. Only candidates within a commutable distance and willing to work onsite as needed should apply. This is part of the New York HBITS initiative. Candidate who meets the requirements will be contacted and asked to provide necessary supporting documentation. What You'll Do
Collaborate with a team of developers to build the new Facility Application Management system using ASP.NET MVC. Work closely with Business Analysts on requirements analysis and logical design. Write and execute unit tests, resolving any identified defects. Perform complex coding tasks using VB.NET. Support Day Care data reporting and related technical requests. Work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect. Develop complex stored procedures and triggers in Oracle using PL/SQL. Contribute to Agile ceremonies and development workflows. What You'll Need
Requirement Details Experience 84 months as a lead software architect and tester Agile Development 84 months on Agile teams for integrated J2EE-based SOA systems and Java/JavaScript development Testing & Defect Management 84 months executing tests and managing defects using ALM, MasterCraft, JIRA Automation & CI/CD 84 months in automation framework and CI/CD development using JavaScript, Java, VB Script, C++, Selenium Version Control 84 months with version control systems and GitHub repository management Testing Tools 84 months experience using ALM, UFT, Load Runner for SOA web services; Agile experience is required Data Validation 84 months developing SQL queries focused on validating cross-component transactions
