The Assistant Community Manager supports residents with complex needs including housing instability, mental health challenges, and substance use. Youll be the on-the-ground leader helping ensure operations run smoothly, properties stay safe and compliant, and residents receive the services they need. Job Responsibilities
Build relationships with residents to support housing stability and well-being
Assist with certifications, re-certifications, rent collection, and compliance paperwork
Conduct property inspections and report maintenance issues
Support emergency response efforts and incident reporting
Supervise on-site staff and support performance in the absence of the Community Manager
Job Skills/Requirements 12 years of residential property management experience, including affordable housing
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management systems like RealPage
Ability to manage complex situations with professionalism and empathy
Additional Information Location: Site-based (California)
Travel between properties may be required
Occasional evening or weekend hours
