Air Force Reserve Supply Chain Management Specialist
Help determine supply areas requiring increased management emphasis and concentrations. Develop, provide guidance, and ensure implementation of the supply training programs for all Reserve supply personnel assigned to the wing/group and applicable GSUs, where applicable to include Civil Engineering (CE), Aerial Port, and Security Forces during annual tours and Unit Training Assembly (UTAs). Manage the War Reserve Materiel (WRM), Readiness Support Package (RSP), Support Equipment (SE) and War Consumable Distribution Objective (WCDO) programs for Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) to ensure compliance with Air Force directives and instructions governing stocking, storage, preservation, accounting and reporting of assets. Serve as the supply focal point for assistance on issues concerning depot level reparables (DLR). Develop and implement procedures to track status of items utilizing automated systems. Manage the Aircraft Sustainability Module (ASM) which predicts combat capabilities of tactical aircraft using operations plans, logistic resources and performance data. Attend meetings and conferences at MAJCOM level as required to represent LRS. Interpret technical data, regulations, and accepted policy and provide staff-level guidance and advice to assigned units in supply. Develop new or revised policies and procedures or eliminate those which are unnecessary or obsolete. U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be a current member of the AF Reserve or willing/qualified to join. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Travel and relocation expenses will not be paid. Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov. The incumbent may be required to fly in commercial and/or military aircraft for performance of TDY away from normal duty station. OR EDUCATION: Threefull years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, OR LL.M in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
