Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Power BI Consultant to design and optimize high-performing dashboards and reports, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Power BI, strong analytical skills, and expertise in data governance, performance tuning, and stakeholder collaboration.
Job Description
Consulting: Business consulting, IT strategy, and digital transformation Skills in optimizing Power BI reports for performance, including data load optimization and query performance tuning Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements Optimize and improve existing BI solutions Able to extract and merge information from a variety of structured and unstructured sources Skills Required
5+ years of experience in designing, building and optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance and flexibility Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Power BI Proficiency: Expertise in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service Ability to connect to a wide range of data sources, from cloud and on-premises sources Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing Knowledge of integrating Power BI with Azure services Understanding of row-level security (RLS) and other security features in Power BI Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance requirements Knowledge of NIST standards and guidelines Experience with managing Power BI workspaces, datasets, and dataflows Understanding of Power BI Premium and its features Experience in creating complex dashboards and reports Proven ability to work with large datasets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Education/Training/Certifications
Highschool diploma or GED. Pay Rate/Salary
Base Compensation: $85k/yr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
