Position Summary: The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting inventory control and fabrication operations by managing the flow, organization, and traceability of materials. This position is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, organizing and staging materials for fabrication, and maintaining accurate documentation, including packing slips and MTRs. The role requires proficiency in operating material handling equipment and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities/Essential

Functions: • Receive, check in, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and MTRs (Material Test Reports) • Organize and stage materials for fabrication, maintaining traceability and continuity of heat numbers • Palletize and manage storage of materials to maximize space and workflow efficiency • Operate telehandlers, cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed • Maintain clean and organized material storage areas • Coordinate with the Inventory Control Specialist to ensure material flow aligns with production schedules • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Required Qualifications: • Must have a "safety first" mentality • Prior experience in a warehouse, industrial, or fabrication environment preferred • Proficient in operating forklifts, cranes, and telehandlers (certifications a plus) • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to read and verify packing slips, MTRs, and related documentation • Basic computer skills or experience with inventory management systems • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision • Must pass a drug/alcohol test and background check • Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) • Minimum 1 year of Oil Field experience or in a similar role is preferred • Prior experience with inventory systems, MTRs, or material tracking is a plus • Certification or experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, or overhead cranes is preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment: • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or move materials • Frequently required to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch • Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance • Ability to operate material handling equipment for extended periods • Must adhere to safety protocols and always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) • Work is primarily performed in an industrial yard and fabrication facility • Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.) • May be exposed to noise, dust, and moving mechanical equipment • Must be able to commute to Ault, CO daily

Compensation and Benefits: Salary:

$20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience Overtime:
