Job Description Maintenance Inventory Specialist- 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm)

Position Summary:
Will ensure all production equipment are production ready with respect to spare parts, repair parts, and consumables. Responsibilities Maintains all assigned equipment areas in a constant state of inspection-readiness, including cleanliness, safety, and compliance with cGMP requirements. Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates delays and other issues. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Receives, unpacks, and deliver goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves. Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness and resolves inconsistencies. Responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available. Assists in management of tool and chemical inventories. Keeps supervisor informed of project status and recognizes the need to ask for help in order to achieve goals. Arrives at work as scheduled, starts work at the beginning of a shift, is on time to meetings, completes assigned tasks in a timely manner, and works overtime as required. Demonstrates initiative and job knowledge by suggesting ideas, discovering new and better ways of accomplishing goals and finds innovative, well thought-out solutions to problems. Knows and follows the Maintenance Department policies and procedures and Thorne Research policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
What You Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. 1-2 years’ experience in Procurement is preferred. Previous experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Food manufacturing preferred.
