Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a growing manufacturer to find a Material Handler for their 2nd (2-10p p.m.) and 3rd shift (10-6 p.m.).
Job Title:Material Handler Reports To:Materials Supervisor Backup:Other Material Handlers, Lead Material Handler, Supervisor
Summary: The Material Handler loads, unloads, inventories, and moves materials within or near the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload trucks Perform inventory transfers using RF (Radio Frequency) equipment Pull shipments and prepare for delivery Move materials as needed throughout the plant No prior experience with company-specific equipment required
Key Competencies Problem Solving:Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem-solving situations. Interpersonal Skills:Remains open to others ideas and tries new things.
Other Responsibilities Employees in supervisory, managerial, director, executive, or quality positions are required to report and act on all food safety and quality concerns reported by plant personnel.
