IT Associate Cloud Engineer - Remote

Jobs via Dice . Job Description Work will primarily be performed remotely but may require the incumbent to be on site. Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Cloud Engineer to partner with existing team members to develop and implement innovative cloud-based operational capabilities supporting key business initiatives that align with Mayo Clinic's strategic goals. An ideal candidate possesses demonstrated experience leveraging DevOps methodologies to implement tools and services that optimize customer workflows along with maximizing business value utilizing cloud native technologies. The Associate Cloud Engineer works to deliver and support enterprise cloud solutions. Assists with developing internal and external compatibility of the system and subsystems. Performs scripting to automate tasks, understands SLAs and OLAs, documents solutions, writes cloud platform configurations, and supports DevOps practices. May develop tools and frameworks for application development, automate and orchestrate processes, support cloud solution integration, ensure compliance with standards, and participate in technology evaluations. Works with security teams to maintain a secure environment, supports installation and maintenance, and manages access controls and cost containment strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years' experience in Cloud engineering/technology, or Associate's degree with 1-3 years' experience, or HS/GED with 3-5 years of experience. Cloud engineering certification required within 12-24 months. Familiarity with Agile and SAFe, Google and/or Azure cloud services, API/platform integration, Python, Terraform, and Azure DevOps preferred. Google Cloud Platform or Azure certification required within 12-24 months. Authorization to work in the U.S. without Mayo Clinic sponsorship. Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension.
