We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to build technical expertise in manufacturing and process engineering. You will receive structured on-the-job training and mentorship as you support the development, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical processes for high-quality electronic assemblies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: n
- n
- Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing process instructions (MPI). n
- Support the design and optimization of mechanical tooling and fixtures for PCBA assembly. n
- Participate in process flow analysis to improve efficiency and manufacturability. n
- Conduct basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments. n
- Support failure analysis and troubleshooting under guidance from senior engineers. n
- Assist document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs). n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, test, and production. n
- Participate in training sessions and hands-on learning in PCBA equipment and processes. n
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: n
- n
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. n
- Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline with equivalent hands-on experience in electrical or manufacturing engineering. n
Experience: n
- n
- 0 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment. n
- Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or manufacturing processes. n
- Exposure to or interest in testing, debugging and the use of test equipment in production environment is a plus. n
- Knowledge of using engineering lab tools or equipment. n
Skills: n
- n
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, with a strong interest in electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes. n
- Eagerness to learn and support the development, implementation, and optimization of PCBA manufacturing processes. n
- Familiarity with/or willingness to learn the PCBA equipment such as soldering machines, pick-and-place systems, and inspection tools (AOI, 5DX, ICT). n
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assist in root cause analysis and process troubleshooting. n
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). n
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly. n
- n
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to following engineering standards and quality practices. n
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus. n
