We're seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with a mechanical background to support project management teams throughout the construction lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic environment while gaining exposure to complex commercial mechanical systems.

What You'll Do:

  • n

    Assist Project Managers with coordination, scheduling, procurement, and documentation

    n
    • n
  • n

    Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project drawings for accuracy and compliance

    n
    • n
  • n

    Track and manage equipment and material delivery schedules

    n
    • n
  • n

    Support jobsite coordination with field teams and subcontractors

    n
    • n
  • n

    Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates

    n
    • n
  • n

    Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation for internal and client use

    n
    • n
  • n

    Help ensure quality control and safety compliance on active job sites

    n

What You Bring:
n
    n
  • n

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    n
    • n
  • n

    1–3 years of experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, or plumbing preferred

    n
    • n
  • n

    Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications

    n
    • n
  • n

    Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

    n
    • n
  • n

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet is a plus

    n
    • n
  • n

    Willingness to travel to project sites across the DMV region

    n
