Posting Context Statement
This position reports to the Director of Dual Credit and is the initial and primary contact to advise eligible Dual Credit students, assist with program access, eligibility and course completion, and improve student achievement, retention, and academic success. This position will use attention to detail to work strategically, collaboratively, and independently with colleagues, high school partners, students, and community members to ensure student success.
Position Overview
This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public and/or agencies, to plan and oversee program activities. May lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment or financial management.
Duties may include: Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services and activities Coordinate a team with a variety array of talents and responsibilities Collect, compile and summarize program data for reports Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives and protocols Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals Other duties as assigned Unit URL

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
Two years of program coordination or program management experience
Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Collecting, compiling, summarizing and analyzing data for administrative reports Required Education
Bachelor's Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree Required Other
Ability to obtain membership in NACADA Ability to travel and to work selected evenings and/or weekends Additional Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Education, General Studies, Communication or related field Master's Degree in Education, General Studies, Communications or related field Working with high school students in a mentorship capacity Experience with student outreach and support Working collaboratively and independently and accurately on detailed tasks Experience maintaining organizational skills including the ability to prioritize activities and flexibility to adjust priorities as circumstances dictate Project or program management Supervising the work of others Processing financial transactions Collecting data and compiling routine management reports Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 20 lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time
Degree Requirement Listed degree qualification is required at time of application
