Position Highlights
Department: Hospital Access - Middletown Hours:Full-Time/35 hours Shift: Days, 1st Shift Shift Details: 2 week rotating schedule that requires every other weekend and rotating holidays: Week 1: Sun 630a-3p, Tues 10a-4p, Wed 7a-330p, Thurs and Fri 10a-4p
Week 2: Mon 10a-4p, Tues 7a-330p, Wed 6a-230p, Thurs 10a-4p and Sat 630a-3p
Position Summary:
Responsible for various patient-related access duties which include registering and processing patients to ensure Department and Hospital access and financial goals are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Proficient typing/keyboard skills Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced customer service environment Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, and inter-personal) Flexibility of hours necessary to ensure department scheduling are met Professional appearance One year experience in a hospital or medical office including insurance and medical terminology Comprehensive Benefits Offered:
