Position Highlights
Department: Plant Operations Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: Days, 1st Shift Position Summary:
The Zone Maintenance Tech works under the supervision of the Engineering Operations Supervisor and repairs and maintains assigned hospital areas consistent with that of a health care institution and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Acts as Engineering Dept. representative with hospital staff in assigned areas and a liaison with Plant Operations personnel Provides immediate response to area requests and/or determines needs for Plant Operations assistance Performs a variety of duties with the exception of areas requiring specialized licensing, unless the specific license is retained by the individual Minimum Qualifications:
High School or vocational school graduate, or equivalent Valid State of CT Driver's License Shall possess basic skills and knowledge of general maintenance work, including but not limited to: repair and maintenance of various types of interior finishes, coverings, door hardware, general plumbing, limited electrical, etc. Thorough understanding and use of building materials, finishes, fixtures, fasteners and other materials utilized in the hospital environment Comprehensive Benefits Offered:
