Project Support Analyst

The Project Support Analyst plays a key role in managing and supporting the financial and operational execution of IT projects. This hybrid position blends project coordination with financial controls, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budget expectations. The role collaborates across IT, finance, and enterprise teams to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation through closure, aligning with business goals and technology roadmaps. Develop and maintain project documentation including charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers. Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resource planning. Support change management and stakeholder engagement efforts. Track and analyze project costs, forecasts, and variances using ERP financial tools (e.g., Oracle). Assist with monthly forecasting activities including accruals, invoice reconciliation, and reporting. Support project change request (PCR) processes and cost/schedule risk analysis. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by leadership. Apply Agile methodologies where applicable. Education & Experience: Required: High School Diploma or GED; minimum of 2 years of experience in project support or financial controls. Preferred: Associate's degree or higher; 4+ years of experience in IT project management or project controls. Skills & Qualifications: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, Oracle). Basic understanding of financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with BI reporting tools and data visualization. Preferred: Familiarity with IT systems development lifecycle and SaaS/cloud financial treatment.
