The Project Manager, Operations, will lead and oversee the successful planning, execution, maintenance, and delivery of in-unit technical initiatives at Children's Mercy Hospital and Children's Mercy Kansas. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on tactical execution, balancing technical expertise, operational insights, and project coordination. The Project Manager will serve as a critical liaison among Compass IT, Morrison Healthcare field teams, and client-facing departments to ensure seamless deployment and operation. This role also includes creating and maintaining presentation and marketing materials to support project communications, training, and adoption strategies across internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Volante kiosk system and associated online dining platforms, as well as managing statistical data and visual reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the complete life cycle of operational software projects, including project planning, scope management, implementation, go-live support, and maintains operational status. Maintain and update the kiosk system and associated online dining platforms, ensuring accurate content, system functionality, and alignment with business needs. Manage updates and configuration changes to software, including platform enhancements, menu adjustments, and administrative support. Train software administrators, menu database coordinators, and account-level users; coordinate and oversee menu imports. Lead weekly implementation and software release calls, and contribute constructive feedback to support continual improvement. Create and maintain presentations and marketing collateral using PowerPoint, Publisher, and other tools to support communication, training, and project promotion. Collect, maintain, and analyze statistical data relevant to project performance, software usage, account satisfaction, and operational impact. Test and validate software enhancements in TEST and PROD environments; confirm enhancement efficacy through end-to-end testing protocols. Provide HelpDesk ticket response and Go Live support for assigned accounts. Track, evaluate, and report productivity metrics related to project workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement. Coordinate clinician involvement in menu design and software evaluation to ensure regulatory and operational compliance (CMS, TJC, DNV). Promote the effective and efficient use of information systems in support of patient dining experiences and foodservice operations. Manage documentation for financial approvals, project quotes, and scope validation. Identify and escalate project risks or roadblocks to the Director, MyDining Business Development. Uphold HIPAA and internal confidentiality policies; represent Morrison Healthcare's mission and values. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or a related field

or equivalent experience. Minimum of 35 years of experience in IT, healthcare, or foodservice project management. Demonstrated ability to manage technology-based solutions in a complex organizational environment. Strong technical knowledge of patient feeding applications, menu software (e.g., MyDining, CBORD, Computrition, Webtrition, Volante), and database configuration. Experience working in or with foodservice operations in a hospital setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, and Project. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in foodservice management or clinical nutrition within acute care settings. Previous experience with patient-facing technology implementation (e.g., MyDining, MenuWorks). Familiarity with agile work environments and change management principles. ACF-certified culinary credentials (e.g., CCC) may be considered as a substitute for dietetic experience.
