We have an immediate career growth opportunity with our Information Workplace Services team for a talented Systems Administrator / Analyst. You will collaborate with a team of DT professionals to support fast-paced, critical programs; develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient 24x7 environments across various classified programs; define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. This is an Onsite role based in Marlborough, MA. What You Will Do:
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment supporting Windows Server internals and/or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Troubleshoot technical problems such as integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). Install and configure software applications; perform data backups; maintain system security requirements; generate documentation and training on IT processes and procedures. Position may require infrequent domestic travel. Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government DoD Top Secret security clearance is required. Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. Minimum 2 years of direct IT Systems analysis / administration experience with technologies such as Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, and Splunk. Requires prior Windows and/or Linux systems administration as well as networking administration experience, backups, and recovery enterprise suites. Qualifications We Value:
