We are looking for a talented Aftertreatment Integration Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering, thermal and fluid systems, in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Stakeholder Collaboration: By obtaining input and negotiating with various stakeholders, you ensure that project decisions are well-informed and aligned with the needs of all parties involved. Decision-Making: Making decisions on short-term project details, such as conducting analysis and testing, supports the successful progression of projects and enhances their impact. Process Improvement: Applying and supporting the improvement of processes like PPP, PPT, VPI, and VPC ensures that projects are executed efficiently and meet high-quality standards. Technical Expertise: Utilizing tools related to thermal and fluid sciences, such as GT-Suite and Fluent, enables high-quality decision-making and optimizes project outcomes. Leadership: Providing independent leadership on smaller business impact projects or complex components ensures accountability and drives project success. Work Process Development: Leading the development and improvement of work processes and systems enhances efficiency and effectiveness across the functional discipline area. Knowledge Transfer: Coordinating and directing work amongst technicians and temporary employees, and assisting in the transfer of knowledge to less experienced engineers, fosters a collaborative and skilled team environment. Technical Guidance: Providing support and guidance to influence technical direction within the project team ensures that projects are aligned with best practices and continue to develop proficiency in critical competency areas.
