The Junior Compositor works closely with experienced compositors to create high-quality visual effects shots for ReelShort Mobisode Series. Our pipeline is different from the traditional VFX pipeline. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be flexible with our fast turnarounds and eager to learn. Responsibilities: Creating Visual Effects:
Assist compositors in creating composite shots by integrating live-action footage, CG renders, and visual effects elements using compositing software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects). Follow artistic direction from VFX Supervisor and Compositors to achieve desired visual effects and storytelling goals for each shot. Shadow Compositors in designing and creating the visual effects for the project. Manage personal workflow and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of VFX elements.
Motion Graphic Design:
Assist Compositors and VFX Supervisor in designing and creating motion graphic elements that adheres to the show's aesthetic style.
Technical Support:
Stay updated with the latest developments in visual effect technology and techniques. Troubleshoot technical issues in the compositing workflow.
