The Team Lead oversees the services provided by the CDI Specialist and coordinates their orientation, evaluates their performance, and provides continuing education. This position provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Clinical Documentation Improvement staff by providing a positive and team oriented environment for all employees. This position is responsible for working with all members of the healthcare team across the inpatient Deaconess Health System facilities to ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in the medical record.
