This position plays a critical role in managing sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, and cost optimization for a portfolio of highly engineered components. You'll lead efforts in commodity strategy development, supply base management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between sourcing strategies and long-term business goals. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to meet long-term goals in cost, quality, and supply assurance. Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities, including value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE). Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, service parts, and other teams to align sourcing decisions with technical and operational requirements. Monitor and respond to market conditions, cost drivers, lead times, and capacity risks. Manage and report on annual budget performance, supplier risks, and savings projections. Support global sourcing initiatives and supplier development programs. Oversee supplier audits and compliance with quality systems such as ISIR, PPAP, and APQP. Mentor and support junior team members and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment. Experience managing engineered components within multi-plant operations. Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships. Ability to lead sourcing strategy development and execution. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international locations.
