Job Description

Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment Approve and/or create new Work Instructions Create or change routings & BOMs in the ERP system Updates & maintains detailed CAD floor layouts of buildings and equipment Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including established goals, training team members, and evaluating results Designs, develops, tests, cost-justifies, and sources various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement Take the lead to resolve quality problems in production when not solved at lower levels through NCR process Represents manufacturing on cross functional teams Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor and/or management, in alignment with organizational goals and operational needs MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. 10+ years experience in a CNC manufacturing environment Expertise in MasterCAM software Experience with programming and troubleshooting vertical and horizontal mills and lathes SolidWorks proficiency Ability to apply GD&T principles and read/understand customer and internal blueprints and drawings What's On Offer
