Essential Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong partnerships with the Sales, Channel Management and Business Unit organizations, provide analysis supporting business decisions, participate in sales, marketing and finance meetings, assist with regular financial performance and forecast reviews, ensure accuracy of all financial results, analysis and forecasts Prepare and communicate monthly/quarterly reporting and analyses of Average Net Sales Price, Discounts and Allowances and exception reporting to manager and business partners Support the review and preparation of Salesforce.com financial transactions, which may include, but not be limited to contracts, promotions, price deviations, delegations and opportunities and review, approve and code promotional and contractual rebates in Salesforce.com Coach business partners on proper revenue recognition and accounting of customer sales and marketing programs to ensure expense accruals are booked according to accounting policy on a monthly basis Book monthly journal entries and prepare reconciliations to ensure appropriate monthly judgements and estimates are booked/accrued and proper reporting over channel, customer and SKU profitability Update documentation related to policies and controls and facilitate compliance by preparing and providing audit requests during internal and year-end audits Develop knowledge in SAP, BI, BPC and salesforce.com; leverage queries and tools that support business analytics; create and maintain business process documentation (as needed) and support continuous improvement. Identify and bring issues and/or concerns to Commercial Finance Managers or Finance Director; collaborate with other departments to resolve issues that arise Support the annual planning & monthly forecasting processes, which may include providing forecast, budget assumptions and analysis related to customer-specific pricing, promotions, contracts, rebates and freight programs to Business Unit finance, Sales Ops and/or Channel Management; ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with strategic direction; facilitate planning/forecasting of strategic initiatives; provide analysis Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 0-2 years of financial analysis (may include participation in a co-op or internship program) Proficient in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Master's of Business Administration, CPA or CMA Working knowledge using financial systems, including ERP, BI, and BPC Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods is desired Working knowledge of SAP and BPC a plus The pay range for this position is $50,700.00 - $81,825.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
