Our client is a growing legal firm that has expanded significantly in the past year. They are adding their first dedicated in-house finance leader to take ownership of the accounting function, develop efficient processes, and provide strategic financial guidance to support future growth. Job Description

The Accounting Manager will manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations and implement scalable systems to meet the demands of a fast-growing organization. This position will work closely with the leadership team, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations. Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and related compliance filings. Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor and forecast cash flow, including oversight of designated accounts. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during year-end and special projects. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency. Partner with leadership to provide data-driven insights for business planning. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; CPA designation is a plus. 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience; experience in a professional services or legal environment preferred. IOLTA compliance experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving work environment. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
