WATG is hiring a Project Manager in Architecture for our office in Tustin, Orange County, California.

Role The Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the project team, focusing on maximizing design value, achieving technical excellence, and meeting financial goals. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing projects through all phases, including client engagement, design and technical quality control, resourcing, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Represent the client’s goals and needs to the team and WATG’s requirements

Create and adjust project work plans

Negotiate additional services

Monitor project processes and quality

Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and budgets

Ensure quality standards and timely delivery of project deliverables

Possess technical strength in a professional discipline to review project documents and research code requirements

Manage contract terms, team assignments, budgets, and schedules to optimize financial results

Oversee billing and collections

Coordinate business development efforts

Assist with contract preparation

Lead team collaboration in meetings

Manage daily project team activities

Mentor team members for professional growth

Qualifications

Professional degree from an accredited institution

Professional license preferred

Environmental accreditation desired

Minimum 10 years of project management experience

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp

Experience across full project lifecycle

Knowledge of building codes and standards

Successful project delivery track record

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proactive problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel

Job Information Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
