Job Description Our Production Material Handler is instrumental in delivering quality service to our customers. Expect thorough training on our processes which require a focus on accuracy and detail. There is a family dynamic at The Pond Guy that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible. Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include. Replenish production primary locations to ensure they remain fully stocked Maintain and organize stock locations within the warehouse using minimum stock replenishment processes Complete material requests for other departments in the organization Assist in material receiving functions when required Cycle counts of inventory Consolidating overflow items to optimize warehouse space Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner, following all company guidelines and safety practices Maintain a clean and organized environment Collaborate cross-departmentally when needed

Skill Set To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills: 1-3 years of experience in shipping experience High school diploma, college degree preferred Organized and detail oriented Beginner to Intermediate-level computer experience Ability to follow procedures methodically Forklift experience a plus This position requires manual dexterity for working with small components, ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time, bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and managing packages up to 150 lbs as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time. In addition, this position must be comfortable with heights and operating a large turret forklift after proper training. We need a Production Material Handler with a positive attitude that wants to become an expert. You’ll offer exceptional customer service by taking the time to follow the process and do things the right way. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks.

Availability This position consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. The schedule will be Tuesday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (Off Mondays).

Compensation This is a full-time hourly position that pays $20 per hour with benefits.
