YoE ₹1,50,000 - ₹1,90,000 a year

We’re on a mission to

eliminate the invisible work that slows developers down

— from deployments and performance tuning to incident resolution and debugging — using

AI-powered agentic workflows . Our platform acts as a real-time engineering co-pilot, automating the repetitive, reactive, and manual parts of software development so engineers can focus on building.

We’re led by two experienced co-founders:

Co-founder 1

— previously led large-scale internal developer platforms used by thousands of engineers.

Co-founder 2

— founded, scaled, and successfully exited a developer-focused startup.

Why This Role Matters

As our

first engineering hire , you will

define our technical foundation , shape our product vision, and build systems that developers will love to use. You’ll be working on

the intersection of AI, developer tools, and real-time systems

— where product speed, technical elegance, and user empathy converge.

This is a

0-to-1, high-ownership role

— perfect for someone who wants to build something category-defining from the ground up.

What You’ll Build

Event-Driven Backend Systems

– Architect and implement our

Node.js

/

Next.js

/ TypeScript + Supabase

stack. Create schemas, data pipelines, and real-time event flows integrating with dev tools and infrastructure.

AI Agent Workflows

– Build a network of AI agents with capabilities like tool usage, memory retention, context updates, retry handling, and feedback loops.

Agent Experience (AX)

– Design human-agent interaction patterns so intuitive that engineers feel like they’re collaborating with a trusted teammate.

Scalable System Architecture

– Partner with founders to set our technical direction, balancing rapid iteration with robust integrations for diverse developer ecosystems.

What We’re Looking For

Full-Stack Engineering Expertise

– Strong experience shipping

Next.js

applications

and working with

serverless/event-driven architectures

in production.

0-to-1 Builder Mindset

– Proven ability to take products from concept to production with

real users or paying customers .

Deep AI Curiosity

– Excited by the potential of

LLMs and agentic workflows

to transform developer productivity.

High Grit, High Agency

– Thrives in ambiguous, high-speed environments where priorities can shift daily.

Collaborative & Direct

– Communicates openly, accepts and gives candid feedback, and works closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

Experience integrating AI models into real-world developer tools.

Background in building products for engineers or the developer tooling ecosystem.

Previous founder or

founding engineer

experience.

Comfort with modern AI coding environments (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code).

This Role Isn’t for You If…

You’re not based in (or willing to relocate to) the

Bay Area

— we’re co-located in San Francisco.

You prefer

rigid structure

over fast-changing, experimental environments.

You’re uncomfortable with

rapid iteration , including deleting or refactoring large amounts of code.

You avoid direct, candid communication.

You’re not excited about working

six days a week

(Sunday off).

The Opportunity

Join as the

first engineering hire

and shape the DNA of a product built for engineers, by engineers.

Work directly with

two seasoned founders

who have scaled and exited in the developer tools space.

Gain

end-to-end startup exposure

— from core architecture to user research, from customer onboarding to engineering strategy.

Help create the

next category-defining developer platform

used and paid for by leading tech companies worldwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr
