Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities.Job Title: Test Operator - Server HardwareLocation: Fremont, Ca Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented individual to support server hardware testing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves following standard procedures to execute and monitor test processes, ensure equipment readiness, and support issue resolution. Must be able to follow ESD and 5S policies, maintain a clean work environment, and communicate effectively with team leads and engineering staff.Key Responsibilities:Follow ESD policies and maintain compliance throughout all work activitiesUnderstand test processes, test flow, and cycle times by model and stagePerform test operations according to standard operating procedures (SOP)Set up and configure servers/racks to begin testing stage by stageMonitor testing progress and identify test failures or hangsFailure Handling Procedures:Test Failures:Re-test servers listed by Test Engineering (TE)Document failure symptoms for unlisted servers and deliver to debug stationRecheck repaired servers into the system and restart full test cycleTest Hangs:Identify stalled servers using test monitoring toolsFor "Hang_up" or "Test_not_run" statuses: perform power cycle and continue testIf server tests pass but monitoring status is not updated, escalate to Line Leader or TEPost-Test Actions:Move passed servers/racks to packaging areaCheck in new servers/racks promptly into open test slotsIssue Reporting & Escalation:Follow SOP for individual failuresReport repeat failures (3+ of same issue on same rack) to Line Leader or TE immediatelyFollow up within 1 hour if no corrective action is providedAdditional Responsibilities:Maintain workstation cleanliness in accordance with 5S policiesEnsure all servers are maintained in a healthy test stateFollow instructions provided by supervisors or leadsQualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience: Not required; training will be providedSkills:Basic computer and electronics knowledge requiredStrong attention to detailAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsEnglish proficiency preferred (verbal and written)Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, bend, and lift servers (up to [insert appropriate weight] lbs) as neededComfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environmentBenefits: Use this link bit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.From time to time Eastridge's clients may offer additional benefits to Eastridge employees while on assignment.Information about those benefits will be communicated when applicable.Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
