Enterprise Architect

to join our team in

Doral, FL . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Holds overall responsibility for defining, maintaining, and evolving the organizations enterprise architecture framework, ensuring strategic alignment between business and IT initiatives

As the Lead of the Enterprise Architecture Services Team, they oversee and coordinate with other SME Enterprise Architects to establish and refine enterprise-wide architectural standards

Provide expert guidance to technology teams, promoting best practices and adherence to architectural frameworks like UAF

Leverage DoDAF expertise to develop and analyze enterprise architecture artifacts, ensuring compliance with DoD policies and guidance

Proactively identify and analyze emerging business needs and technology trends to guide the evolution of the enterprise architecture

Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business goals into architectural strategies and roadmaps, ensuring IT investments support strategic objectives

Conduct comprehensive architectural assessments, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend optimization solutions

Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture governance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Provide strategic direction and mentorship to subordinate staff, shaping the organizations architectural vision and capabilities

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelors degree

12+ years of relevant Enterprise Architect experience

Experience with various technology domains, such as cloud computing, data architecture, application architecture, and infrastructure.

Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.

Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts (e.g., business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, technology architecture).

Broad knowledge of IT domains, including applications, infrastructure, data management, and security.

Familiarity with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), DoDAF and its views, including the Operational View (OV), Systems View (SV), and Technical Standards View (TV).

Experience in developing and maintaining DoDAF-compliant architecture artifacts, such as Operational Viewpoints (OVP), Systems Viewpoints (SVP), and Capability Viewpoints (CV).

Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards related to enterprise architecture.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on enterprise architecture. Experience in developing and implementing architecture governance processes.

Experience in conducting DoDAF-based architecture assessments and gap analysis. Knowledge of DoDAF 2.02 and its application in cloud-based and agile-informed environments.

Familiarity/Experience with DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture v2.0

Familiarity/Experience with Enterprise Architecture modeling tools and techniques which can support DoDAF standards, views, etc.

DoDAF, TOGAF, Zachman, and/or other relevant architecture certifications.

Experience at a DoD Combatant Command and the associated Title 10, and Echelon Specific Command Authorities exercised for a CCMD (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) and/or supporting military components is desired.

Clearance Requirements: Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
