Build your future with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector Level 2 in Gardena, CA. As a Quality Inspector Level 2, you will: Perform complex mechanical inspections on aerospace components Execute First Article Inspections and generate reports in accordance with AS9102 standards Interpret detailed technical drawings using GD&T and intermediate-level blueprint reading Use tools such as optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments Independently perform full bench setups and document inspection results Provide quality feedback to manufacturing to ensure ongoing product conformance Maintain inspection records and follow established procedures and safety practices This is a full-time, temporary opportunity from August 18, 2025, through November 11, 2025. The ideal candidate will have: 2-4 years of mechanical inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or defense Experience performing First Article Inspections and writing AS9102 reports Intermediate knowledge of shop math, GD&T, and blueprint reading Familiarity with standard inspection tools and visual inspection techniques Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision GED or High School diploma preferred Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (5:45AM - 2:15PM) Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.75 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
