The Digital Manufacturing Systems (DMS) team at Ford is building the digital factory of the futurea software-defined manufacturing ecosystem that integrates process, product, and production to empower operators and engineers like never before. We operate at the intersection of advanced software, embedded systems, connected hardware, and real-time insights to enable Ford's transformation into a Virtual First, Connected Factory that closes feedback loops in real time. Our goal is simple: make the operator's life better while building safer, smarter, and more efficient plants worldwide. As a part of this team you will be involved in: Building next-generation manufacturing platforms that reduce defects, boost throughput, and enhance safety across Ford's global factories. Design and develop high-performance applications and services for real-time factory orchestration and diagnostics. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsembedded systems, hardware engineers, and data scientiststo bring the digital twin of Ford's factory to life. Contribute to real-time insight generation that allows operators and machines to make proactive decisions. Participate in developing Ford's first in-house diagnostics platform for real-time assembly insights.
