The TBI SME will provide scientific, technical, and programmatic support to the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves clinical research, patient treatment, and collaboration with military and veteran health systems, supporting TBI research, education, and clinical standards. Responsibilities include: Designing and participating in clinical research protocols. Submitting protocols to IRB and FDA. Providing evaluation and treatment of medical conditions as per medical license and specialty. Assisting in securing research funding. Monitoring and evaluating clinical research quality. Analyzing clinical data and preparing reports and publications. Participating in training and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: MD with specialty training in related TBI fields (Neurology, Neurosurgery, etc.) preferred. 5-10 years healthcare or research experience. Experience with TBI and DoD/VA systems preferred. Licensure to practice medicine in the US; Board certification preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong clinical, research, and communication skills. Knowledge of TBI, statistics, and healthcare systems. Ability to travel as needed. US Citizenship and ability to obtain T3/Secret Clearance. Physical and Other Requirements: Lifting up to 25 lbs. Prolonged sitting/standing, patient interaction. Salary Range:
$144,700 - $268,700 annually, based on experience. Benefits:
