About the Position: Our client, a premier national law firm, has an immediate need for a patent litigator to join its established Chicago office as an associate or counsel (depending on experience level). This cutting-edge practice represents a variety of clients, including start-ups, midsize and large corporations, and university and government entities, in high-profile patent matters across the country. Highlights: · Nationally recognized practice · Ranked on the Vault Law 100 list · Firm is dedicated to pro bono work and supports over 40 legal aid groups Responsibilities: · Assist clients across a range of industries with patent litigation matters · Handle discovery management, draft motions, take and defend depositions, create expert reports, and assist with trials Required Qualifications: · 2 or more years of patent litigation experience · Experience with trial, motions, depositions, expert reports, and discovery management · Junior/mid-level candidates must have an undergraduate science degree; senior-level candidates must have a degree in molecular biology or advanced chemistry degree · Strong academic credentials Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $375,000 Position Type
