ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Nuclear Design/Reload Engineer to join our client in the Nuclear industry!
X Perform core design and analysis activities of advanced nuclear reactors, including calculation and optimization of fuel management, power distributions, reactivity coefficients, control rod worth and shutdown margin, sensitivity and uncertainties, and support of reactor operational interfaces, consistent with required functional and quality requirements
X Design and analyze new systems for solving complex problems
X Design and execute sensitivity studies to understand the effects and validity of various modeling assumptions, including meshing, physics coupling, transport options, cross section preparation, fission product treatment, spatial kinetics, etc., and help build corrected methods if necessary
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
X B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 5-20 years' experience
X M.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 3-15 years' experience
X Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 2-10 years' experience
