ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Fuel Handling Systems Engineer to joing our client in the Nuclear industry!
X Management of Systems, Structures and Component level requirements ensuring they are traceable and implemented into configuration control system, including verification and validation methods.
X Identify and ensure effective application of correct design codes into the design of plant systems Specifically ASME BPVC, ANS 57.1, NML-1, NUM-1 and BTH-1.
X Analyze and allocate regulatory criteria and standards to complex mechanical and process system design.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
X Education: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline preferred. M.S. and Doctorate degrees may be credited for up to two and four years of experience respectively.
X A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in the design of complex mechanical systems, structures and equipment.
X Previous experience with nuclear technology including fuel handling equipment and/or reactor internals design or similar high-performance systems utilizing modern industrial equipment is preferred.
