The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality CT and X-Ray examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position entails independently performing imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring that all required standards for imaging quality are met. Key Responsibilities: - Perform quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams as requested by medical staff, operating with limited supervision while maintaining a high attention to detail and reliability.- Assist medical personnel in other departments during examinations and procedures when necessary.- Manage ancillary duties to ensure accurate distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.- Complete documentation in the designated system to ensure proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.- Retrieve and verify written orders and related health information for timely performance and reporting of imaging exams. Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent with documented competencies in Radiology and CT.- Current Montana Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.- Advanced certification in CT from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.- A minimum of two (2) years of previous radiology experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in a health care-related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong judgment and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions.- Ability to function effectively in a busy and stressful environment.- Proficient in current and emerging computer applications relevant to the role.- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.- Capable of analyzing, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines. Physical Requirements: - Regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining various positions (sitting, standing, walking) during the work shift, and performing tasks requiring good balance and coordination.- Occasionally climbing, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder level.- Continuous fine-finger movements, close vision for data analysis, and cognitive skills to learn and apply new tasks effectively.
