Position: MRI TechnologistLocation: Houston, TX 77043 Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable) Shift: 3 shifts/week, 13-hour day shifts, rotating matrix schedule Pay Rate: $42/hr - $46/hrJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Key Responsibilities:Perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards.Create high-quality diagnostic images of body tissues, organs, and systems.Operate MRI equipment and monitor patient safety during procedures.Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare staff regarding findings and follow-up care.Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area.Requirements:Licensure/Certification: ARRT (MRI) certification and current BLS required.Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred.Skills: Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols, anatomy, imaging procedures, and patient care standards.Ability to work flexible shifts in a rotating matrix schedule.
