Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assemble financial databases using relevant information
- Automate financial reporting tasks
- Compile financial reports with calculations, data, and other information
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports
- Work with team members to consolidate budget and forecast financial performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Knowledge of financial software systems and GAAP, Cost Accounting Standard, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (desirable)
- Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated accounting systems
- Ability to perform research, compile reports, and analyze data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Skills & Technology Used:
- High level of PC knowledge
- Understanding of database maintenance and design, structures, and data mining
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Ability to plan and track budgets
- Proficient in computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
