Each satellite can connect over two million people, and we're very excited for the impact we'll soon have in the Philippines, Peru, Mexico, and more!Backed by substantial funding and a passionate, collaborative team, we offer a rewarding work environment where you'll learn and make a significant impact, no matter where you are in your career.As an Assembly Integration and Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing satellite components, subassemblies, and fully integrated vehicles. The role requires both electrical and mechanical integration work to assemble the spacecraft as well as assisting with pneumatic and electrical testing.RoleAssemble and test spacecraft and ground support equipmentAssemble and integrate the spacecraft using engineering models and procedures. Assemblies include: structural parts and mechanisms, RF waveguides, antenna, electronic boxes, harnesses, coax cables, thermal blanketsMaintain paperwork - work instructions, connector mate logs, test logsSet up, adjust, and calibrate standard test equipment to conduct functional and environmental testing using test proceduresPerform spacecraft lifting and handling operationsPerform spacecraft testing of communications, telemetry and command, thermal, power, and propulsion subsystems per the applicable procedureOperate subassembly and spacecraft pressure test consolesCollaborate with Production engineers to develop and document build proceduresRequirements2+ years of fundamental experience in assembly, manufacturing or maintenanceAbility to interpret technical drawings, test plans, and work to proceduresAbility to perform spacecraft integration tasks in clean room environmentAbility to operate cranes, man lifts, tugs & handling equipmentExperience working with general hand tools and torque wrenchesFamiliar with windows style PC operating systemsStrong communication and teamwork skillsClimbing ladders, long durations of standing, grasping, sitting, pulling, and physical bending movementsMust be able to lift at least 25 lbs unassistedWilling and able to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as requiredWilling and able to travel to support off-site launch site processing and environmental testingDon't meet them all?
